The Telfer School of Management's core undergraduate focus, the Bachelor of Commerce degree, which usually takes four years to complete, has been designed for students who want specialized training in major areas of management. Students complete the program with or without an option or they can select the specialized honours program in accounting or management information systems. Students who decide to complete the program with options may choose one of seven options in which to specialize. These options include entrepreneurship, finance, international management, marketing, human resource management, and E-Business.

The Desmarais Building is the home of the Telfer School of Management. Named in honour of Paul G. Desmarais, a University of Ottawa alumnus and one of Canada's most distinguished corporate leaders, the 12-storey structure offers management students an unparalleled learning environment.
This impressive facility includes: breakout rooms; four computer labs; six conference rooms; student lounges and club offices; wireless connectivity throughout the building; four classrooms specially designed for the graduate programs; six lecture theatres with capacity for more than 700; and a multipurpose room suitable for hosting a multitude of events, conferences, seminars and celebrations.
